COVID-19 Information

Parkland Minor Ball Association and its members are operating based on the COVID-19 mandates of the Government of Alberta, current CMOH Public Health Orders, the provisions of the Restrictions Exemption Program (where applicable), and the Baseball Alberta Return to Baseball guidelines.

Parkland Minor Ball and the Parkland Baseball Academy utilize facilities throughout the region. We will continue to adhere to the facility policies set by these regional partners.

Restriction Exemption Program:

  • TLC – If youth under 18 are accessing a facility with a REP in place for the sole purpose of taking part in a youth activity, they would not need to provide proof of vaccination status, physician note, or negative test. This applies to swimming lessons and any TLC youth programs, as well as any organized sports.
  • Individuals ages 12 and up must show one of the acceptable options for proof of vaccination if they wish to spectate, use any other amenity (such as a restaurant), or participate in a mixed adult/youth activity (like TLC drop-in sports or programs).
  • Coaches, instructors, trainers, referees, etc. for youth activities, who are 18 years or older, are subject to the public health measures or REP requirements.

Many municipalities in the area have put in place that everyone over the age of 12, whether spectating or participating, must provide proof of vaccination and/or a negative Covid test within 72 hours that has been provided independently to enter their facilities.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BY FACILITY STAFF.
THERE WILL BE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ANY ABUSE OR NEGATIVITY TOWARDS ANY FACILITY WORKER.
